Explore the south coast of Dominica with its shores, fishing villages and inviting reefs .
Snorkle in bubbles at Champagne Reef! The underwater hot springs create some Champagne like bubbles that catches the sunlight for your viewing pleasure. A once in a lifetime experience! You'll be provided with snorkel gear and instruction, if necessary, before heading into the bubbles of Champagne Reef. Squid and colorful Parrotfish will enjoy the bubbles right alongside you.
We will then continue our route to Scottshead, the southernmost point of this 29-mile long by 16-mile wide island. Scottshead Point provides breathtaking, sweeping vistas of the blue expanse where the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean meet. Here you will have the opportunity to explore the remnants of the historic Fort "Kashacou" and go for a short swim.
You then head back north along the coast to the Village of Soufriere. Here, sub-aquatic springs send hot water upward – with just a hint of sulphur, hence the name Sulphur Springs – mixing with the tropical waters of the Caribbean to create just the right temperature for rejuvenating soaking and swimming.
On the return trip, the route features lush green mountain slopes on your right and the azure waters of the Caribbean on your left.
Included: all transportation, snorkel gear and admission to all sites, drinks (local juice or rum punch)
